A strange and fun twist on the usual canoe racing brings us to Windsor, Nova Scotia. Held every year in October, residents bring their biggest pumpkins to Lake Pesaqi. As they all hollow out their giant pumpkins, they get ready for the race of the year. This has to be one of the coolest things i have ever seen. Granted giant pumpkin competitions are cool but actually using them for something after seeing who can grow the biggest pumpkin is the way to go. I think that all Pumpkin competitions should have pumpkin canoe races afterwards like these people in Nova Scotia do.

I hope none of the competitors have allergies to Pumpkin meat/insides. That could be awkward.
